How much does it cost to create a logo? Logos vary in cost depending on the complexity and time spent on the project. Our logos can run anywhere from $175 to $1,200 with the majority around $300 to $400. Request our price list.
How long does it take to create a logo? From 1 to 3 weeks (typically)
What is your hourly rate? For estimating purposes our rate is $95 per hour. We give you an accurate job estimate before starting any work. Request our price list.
How close do you come to your estimate? Historically, we come within 5%. However, estimates are given based on criteria received. Sometimes unforeseen needs or desires come up and the estimate may change. We will notify you either by email or phone call prior to going over the estimate.
Do you have a price list? We have a general price list that can be used for starting costs. Request our price list.
How much does it cost to create a brochure? Our base price for brochures can be calculated by following the formula $125 per color per side of letter-sized paper. Full color is considered 4 colors and black and white is considered 1 color. For example, cost for a 3-panel brochure printed 2-sided on letter-sized paper in full color (4-color) is: 4 (colors) x 2 (sides) x $125 = $1000.00. Request our price list.
How long does it take to create a brochure? Brochures are characteristically notorious for their time-impredictability. Most standard brochures take 1 to 2 weeks to complete. It is also understood that our clients often need their projects done for a next-weekend-show. Measures can be taken for short turnaround projects.
How can I see the progress of my marketing project? As versions of your artwork are completed, they are sent to you by email in a PDF format. We can then discuss the artwork by phone, email, MSN Messenger, or meeting face to face. All PCs and Macs currently produced are sold with a PDF reader already installed. It can also be downloaded for free from Adobe. 
When our project is finished, what happens to the art files? After payment of services, your valuable art files will be given to you upon request. Specialized software may need to be purchased to allow your office to make any changes to the files. Logo files will be submitted to you on disk or by email in a format that will be supported by your word processor, printer, or publication. Additionally, Image Quest - Roseville will keep your files onsite for up to one year with a back up held offsite. After one year, your files may be archived and secured in a hardened facility. If the files are archived, there may be a small fee to restore them.
Printing
What is 4-color printing? 4-color printing is what is commonly known as full-color. Using an overlaid, screened pattered of each process color: cyan, magenta, yellow and black, virtually any color can be reproduced in a printed item.
What does a full color brochure cost to print? We can print full color brochures for as little a $300 for 1000.
Do you do your own printing? No. Should you choose us to print your project, we will choose from a variety of our local commercial print resources to complete the work while we oversee the final product. For this service, we mark up the print cost by 20%.
Do we have to print with you? No. We are happy to use your printer at your request. It becomes your responsibility to oversee the final printing process. Should you need print or prepress assistance from us, there may be additional charges.
What if there is a mistake in the printing? During proofing, content errors (text and images) are noted and corrected well prior to the project going to press. You will be asked to approve a final full-color proof prior to printing. Please be very careful when reviewing the final proof as the client is responsible for any content errors including misspellings after this point. Any serious printing error stemming from press defects will be corrected and reprinted.

Websites
How important is a website? A website’s importance in a business’ marketing program is measured in its effective use as an advertising tool. It needs to be correctly coordinated with all of a business’ marketing materials to form a laser focused program. A website’s most effective use is as an easily updateable marketing support tool for your advertising and other marketing strategies. Contact us to find out how.
What does it cost to create a website? If this is your first website we can create a temporary page for approx. $400 which is applicable to the cost of the final site. Our minimum cost for a full website is $1,200. An average site is in the $1,700 range. Request our price list.
What is the process of creating a website? Our first meeting by phone or in person consists of a needs assessment. In this meeting we will go over your goals and purposes of the website. Once established, we will submit a site architecture for the project that maps out the pages and their links. Then we begin to create the background and navigation artwork for the site. When the artwork and architecture is approved we will insert the artwork and your content into the html framework and post the site to your hosted area. I don’t have a domain name yet. What do I do? We can assist you in researching an available and marketable domain name. If you choose to research one on your own, we suggest using “Whois Source”: www.whois.sc.
What is hosting and who should I choose to host my website. Website hosting is simply a publicly accessible area on the internet where your website files reside. From here they can be viewed as web pages by your customers. Your domained email can also be kept at your hosting provider. These areas are normally leased for a monthly or yearly fee. We operate a commercial web server housed in a secure facility. You can choose us or any of a variety of other hosts. Contact us for suggestions.
How can I get my website ranked higher in the search engine results? A website can be ranked higher in the search engines both passively and actively: The passive method involves editing the html code of the page in such a way to give the search engines and their “searchers” and accurate picture of the goods and services your company provides. A correctly coded page will bring it higher in the SE results. The passive method can take from 6 to 8 weeks to yield results. Contact us; we can help. We do not and will not employ any code that may “trick or fool” a search engine into increasing your exposure. These methods, if discovered, can often result in blocking your site from searches. The active method requires that you purchase certain “keywords” that pertain to your business and that searchers will likely use to find you. When the user enters those words, your ad is brought up and ranked depending on your budget. You are charged for those words only when the searcher clicks on the ad. Website & Email Hosting
I am not able to see my website. Is the webserver down? First and foremost, check to see if you can receive any other websites. If you can’t, check with your Internet Service Provider to see if they are having some problems. We operate a state-of-the-art Linux based commercial web server. Even so, there can be a rare instance that the server or, more likely, the network on which it is connected goes down. The server is programmed to reboot itself during this sort of an incident. I am having problems accessing my email. What should I do? Settings in your email program can, at times, seem to change on their own. When this happens, get your login information and go to our email settings page. It will guide you in adjusting your email program. If this does not work or you no longer have your login information, contact us.
Can I access my email from a web page? Yes, and from anywhere in the world! You can receive and send email by going to webmail.yourdomainname.com (where [yourdomainname.com] is your actual domain). This will open the server-based web mail interface. You will need your login information to use this feature.
What type of web server do you operate? Our web server is Intel based 2GHz unit running under a Linux 2.7 OS. It’s website capacity is company mandated at a maximum of 100 websites. It runs onboard shopping cart and CMS software for client needs. It also supports SSL, SSI along with CGI and PHP programs and mySQL databases. Clients may use the familiar Plesk control panel to control various options on their hosted domain including adding, deleting and edit email addresses as well as FTP areas. All sites on our server are backed-up daily.
